Business Meeting Report/Minutes

Saturday, December 7, 2013

Dr. Benjamin Lockshin called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m.

I. Minutes from the October 26, 2013 INOVA Fairfax meeting were approved.

II.  Committee Reports

• Advocacy Committee:  Working on analyzing survey data collected last year.  Please consider joining/being involved in the committee.
• Social Committee:  First event will be this spring.  Details coming soon.
• Treasurer’s Report:  Three accounts total $430,447.45 and two CDs total $76,078.49.  Please pay your dues if you have not.  Please let us know if you like using the credit card option to pay your dues.
• Website Development Committee:  Email Dr. Lockshin or John Garza about your practice and the services you provide to add to the website.

III.  Old Business

• Maren Shaw, M.D. and Brendan Camp, M.D. were voted on and approved for membership.

IV.  New Business

• New membership applications were presented:  Mary Maiberger, M.D. and Rishi Patel, M.D.  They will be voted on at the next meeting.

The next meeting will be the Resident Appreciation Dinner March 4, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.  Mark your calendars now!

The meeting was adjourned at 9:41 a.m.
