Business Meeting called to order by Dr. Vincenzo Giannelli at 4:30 pm.

OLD BUSINESS
Minutes of meeting at Georgetown Hospital were presented and approved.

NEW BUSINESS

MEMBERSHIP
A vote was held and the application of Dr. Aizen Marrogi was approved.

SKIN CANCER SCREENINGS
Please advise Dr. Giannelli if you are going to host a skin cancer screening. Melanoma Monday is May 5, 2008.

WALT WHITMAN CLINIC
Dr. Ivy Lee, a resident at Georgetown-WHC is looking for volunteers to precept a monthly dermatology clinic. Her e-mail is ivyannlee@gmail.com.

CTCL STUDY
Dr. Heidi Kong announced a protocol for early stage CTCL patients and the topical medication romidpesin. Please contact Susan Booher, RN, MS at boohers@mail.nih.gov or (301) 402-1474 with potential patients.

WEBSITE
There have been difficulties reaching the man who created the DC Derm website so it cannot be updated. If he cannot be contacted in the near future, a new web site will have to be created.

UPCOMING MEETINGS
Atlantic Derm will be held in Quebec on 4/25-27/08. More information is available at www.sorelcomm.ca/atlanticderm2008.

The next meeting will be at Howard on 5/13/08 at 6:30 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:35 pm.
