Business Meeting called to order by Dr. Vincenzo Giannelli at 7:12 pm.

OLD BUSINESS
Minutes of meeting at Fairfax Hospital were presented and approved.

NEW BUSINESS

MEMBERSHIP
A vote was held and the applications of Dr. Heidi Kong, Dr. Elizabeth Liotta, Dr. Rebecca Luria, and Dr. Kelley Redbord were approved. The application of Dr. Aizen Marrogi was presented and will be voted upon at the next meeting.

MEMBERSHIP DUES
Please submit membership dues.

SKIN CANCER SCREENINGS
Please advise Dr. Giannelli if you are going to host a skin cancer screening. Melanoma Monday is May 5, 2008.

DC DERMATOLOGICAL GRANT
The grant application is now posted on the website.

LEGISLATION
The Tanning Accountability and Notification Act was passed. It will require a change in the label posted on tanning devices.

UPCOMING MEETINGS
The next meeting will be DC Derm Day on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Walter Reed. The program will start at noon.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm.
