Announcements
Dr. Read thanked the Washington Hospital Center Dermatology Department for hosting the meeting and for the very interesting cases presented. Dr. Read also thanked Dr. McKinley-Grant for her leadership and hard work as President of the D.C. Dermatological Society.

New Business

1) The D.C. Dermatological Society has a website! Our address is www.DCDermSociety.com. Dr. Read and Dr. Silverman were thanked for their work in opening our first official site. An updated member directory will soon follow.

2) Ms. Janiece Jones has been welcomed as the Society Administrator.

3) 50% of the membership dues have been received so far. Pleas submit the dues promptly as the Atlantic Dermatological Society Meeting budget need to be met.

4) Initiatives to expand our membership base were discussed.

5) Dr. Welch reviewed the AAD President message to help members affected by Hurricane Katrina.

6) The 2006 proposed budget was approved unanimously.

7) Atlantic Dermatological Society Conference 2006

B) Hosting institutions have been asked to provide 12 patients each for the meeting.

C) A $500 contribution from the D.C. Derm Society was approved to help create and update an Atlantic Dermatology member roster (as requested by Dr. Bill James).

8) The next meeting is the Resident Appreciation Dinner which will be held at the Kenwood Country Club on October 25th.
