Business Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Call to Order at 7:15pm

Minutes
June 2009 minutes were reviewed.

Membership
Applications for Suraj Venna, M.D. and Ricardo Bullen, M.D. presented.
Vote will occur at the Kenwood meeting.

Treasurers Report
We are behind in funds approximately $16k and request prompt payment of dues.

Old Business
CME will be provided through WHC - 2.3 hrs for regular meetings / 4.5 hrs for DC Derm Day.  Forms need to be completed at the meeting.  No retroactive CME credit will be awarded.  At the end of each year, members will receive a CME certificate.

New Business
Christine Dewitt has been awarded a scholarship fund to pursue a volunteer program in Peru.  Applications for the scholarship fund are available on-line.

Next Meeting
The residents’ appreciation dinner will occur at Kenwood Country Club on Tuesday, Oct. 27th .  Cocktails (cash bar) @ 6:30pm, Dinner @ 7:15pm, and Speakers @ 7:30pm
